I had the craziest of starts to 2012…it looked like suddenly the world had remembered me, so quite a few commissions have kept me busy and quiet for a while.
The nice part of it that most of them were quite fun and interesting. So, to start this recap, I’ll post an illustration I did for an Italian national newspaper…on superheroes! I haven’t drawn this stuff for ages (maybe since I was 10!?!), not even at comic school as far as I remember, so it was a bit of a nice change, although they were the reason I started drawing as a child (drawing my own superhero stories and clipping the whole thing with a stapler). Due to time constraints it was a bit rushed, so I didn’t have the opportunity to refine them and actually check what they looked like nowadays, but it didn’t turn out that bad (as a whole). Ah, of course the black widow and venom (it reminded me of when I was doing the Slaine pages) were my favourites…
And now what next? Anybody up for a Lupin and Margot commission? (especially the latter)
